Official word is out this morning that celebrity chef/Chopped judge Maneet Chauhan's much anticipated restaurant Chauhan Ale & Masala House will indeed be located in the former Roosters space at 123 12th Avenue North in the North Gulch. According to the post from the owners' reps, construction is already underway on the Indian gastropub, "which will feature business casual dining for lunch and dinner seven days a week for up to 150 guests," as well as "[c]atering for external, special events......with the option to have Chef Chauhan appear at those events and prepare the menu on site." The project is a partnership between Chauhan and North Gulch Hospitality, which consists of Anthem/Revelry co-owners Moni Advani, London Parfitt and Austin Ratliff. The group is aiming for a Spring 2014 opening.
