The highly anticipated 404 Kitchen, the 45-seat restaurant attached to the boutique 404 Hotel in the Gulch, will open to the public next Tuesday, Oct.22, according to a tweet from the project's publicist. Currently in preview mode, the restaurant is under the direction of chef Matt Bolus, a veteran of local restaurants Flyte and Watermark, as well as FIG in Charleston, SC, and will offer up a "modern take on classical European cuisine." The restaurant itself is housed in a large storage container at the front of the building, and they plan to grow herbs and other edibles for the restaurant on the roof.
