SOBROThe 3rd Annual Music City Southern Hotwing Festival takes over Walk of Fame Park this Saturday, Oct.5. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of wings from competition entrants, as well as participate in an all-you-can eat wing throw down and sample local beers. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and tickets are $12.50, with children 12 and under getting in free. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN — Another beer fest is poised to descend upon downtown Nashville, as the 3rd Annual Mafiaoza's Nashville Beer Festival sets up shop this Saturday at Public Square Park. On tap will be over 55 breweries offering more than 150 craft beers, as well as premium spirits tastings and food vendors. General admission tickets are $35 and VIP are $50. [EaterWire]

FRANKLIN — On Oct.13, Vivek's Epicurean Adventures (VEA) Supper Club will be taking over Frothy Monkey in Franklin, offering up a five-course dinner, with beverage pairings provided by Ryan Moses with Drink Music City. Cost of the dinner is $60, or $85 with pairings. [EaterWire]
