Boca Loca Cantina & Taco Factory Opens Today in Hillsboro Village

Boca Loca Cantina & Taco Factory, the latest restaurant concept to occupy the space at 2000 Belcourt Ave., is set to open this evening at 5 p.m. The product of Chicago transplant and managing partner Tim Heavey and executive chef David Reyes, the "southern-style saloon" will serve up a modern take on Mexican street food, as well as offer a cocktail program with a heavy emphasis on tequila and whiskey, featuring a roster of margaritas and sangrias.

According to their official Facebook page, Boca Loca will be selling only beer, along with the full menu, until they receive their last inspection from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission. Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Sundays.
