The West End property formerly occupied by Japanese restaurant Tenno is in the process of a complete renovation to make way for Chateau West, a new French-American restaurant concept from the owner of popular Turkish restaurant Anatolia. Sources involved with the project tell Eater that chef Marco Sedda, who previously ran the kitchens at Giovanni's Italian Ristorante and 360 Bistro, has been brought on as executive chef. The restaurant itself will seat approximately 100, with a combination of tables, booths, a small bar and outdoor patio seating. Parking, which has long been an issue with the location, has apparently been remedied with an agreement with an adjacent bank for use of its parking lot for valet service after 5 p.m. No word yet on a concrete opening date, but sources say it should be open for business by Christmas.
