The Stables at Husk, Sean Brock's Workshop Sessions/guest chef dinner restaurant space that was first revealed back in August, now has its first guest chef: James Beard award winning chef Joseph Lenn of The Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tenn. Here are details on the event via Husk's Facebook page:
On Monday, December 9th, 6:30pm, Chef Lenn and Chef Sean Brock will collaborate on a fried chicken and beer family-style feast, featuring the Nashville debut of Blackberry Farm Brewery's new beer! Each chef will make their version of fried chicken, plus appetizers, and our amazing pastry maven Lisa Donovan will be doing dessert. Tickets are $200/person (not including tax + gratuity). Reservations can be made by calling the restaurant: 615.256.6565. There will be a 48 cancellation policy. Hope to see you all there!
Perhaps this will be more than just a one-off event and kick-start the previously mentioned guest chef dinner series? Do check back for future updates.
