It appears that Green Hills is about to lose what is quite possibly its only real claim to upscale dining, as industry stalwart F. Scott's Restaurant and Jazz Bar plans to leave the neighborhood after 26 years of business. Wendy Burch, who has owned the restaurant with Elise Loehr for just over 10 years, confirmed with Eater that their lease will expire at the end of March, with a month-to-month option after. A letter of intent has been signed and details are being worked out for a new as-yet-unnamed F. Scott's restaurant project to be located in the recently opened Homewood Suites located at 2400 West End Avenue. Says Burch about the move:

These will be our last Christmas and New Year's Eves in this space, and it's meant so much to everyone that's been a part of F. Scott's to have taken care of the people in this community over the years. We realize it's the end of an era for a fantastic restaurant, but it's time to do something new and fun, and we're excited about what the future holds for our next concept.
