12 South's Epice Getting Close to Opening

Epice, a Lebanese bistro from the owners of Kalamatas, appears just about ready to go. The upcoming 12 South restaurant has a brand new Facebook page, showing a first look at the sparse interior, which includes hardwood floors, concrete walls, table seating for approximately thirty and six seats at the marble-topped bar. Announced back in June, the project apparently hit a few delays, with owner Maher Fawaz telling the Nashville Scene at that time that he hoped to open by mid-August. No definite opening date has been released yet, but with the interior in its current state, a January opening is likely. Be sure to check back as more details become available.
