Chappy's on Church appears to be no more. After the well documented fallout spurred by a visit from Kitchen Nightmares and shouty chef Gordon Ramsay, chef/owner John "Chappy" Chapman apparently wasn't able to get things back on track, and his restaurant has now "been seized for nonpayment of Tennessee State taxes."

Chapman has been very vocal about his Nightmares' experience, blaming the show for his current woes, and even going so far as to tell The National Enquirer earlier this year that "Gordon Ramsay destroyed [his] business."

So what's next for Chapman? It's not immediately clear, but a post on the restaurant's Facebook page says that "[p]lans are forthcoming right now and in the meantime, we are taking a break and spending time with family."
