Purveyors and enthusiasts of infused cocktails dodged a bullet, as earlier today the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission decided that it would be suspending the previously announced prohibition indefinitely.

To have been enacted on July 1, the ban stemmed from a 2006 law making it illegal for businesses to serve infused alcoholic drinks. A representative for the TABC stated that they "determined it to be in the public interest that the regulatory enforcement of this prohibition be indefinitely suspended."
