Chelsea Bistro in Whites Creek Now Open

Chelsea Bistro, a French restaurant located on an unlikely stretch of Clarksville Highway, is officially open. Yesterday evening, when queried about the opening date via social media, the emphatic reply came back, "Right now!" The executive chef is Garrett Pittler, whose background includes stints with McCormick & Schmick's Seafood and Hard Rock Cafe, as well as head chef at "eat," the now-defunct restaurant at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, and at The Row Kitchen and Pub. Pittler has previously said that he plans to serve "traditional Franco cafe classics: croque madame, croque monsieur and coq au vin."
