As reported last week, Philip Krajeck's Germantown restaurant Rolf and Daughters was named by Bon Appetit Restaurant Editor Andrew Knowlton as one of the 50 best new restaurants in the country. Now Bon Appetit has just announced The Hot 10 2013: The Best New Restaurants in America, and Rolf and Daughters has made the exclusive list, clocking in at number three. Knowlton states that he is "starting to think that chef Philip Krajeck was put on earth to make pasta," calling the hand-cut farro gemelli "mesmeriz[ing]." He continues in regards to the pastas:
How do I express how good they were? Let's just say my friend had to tell me about all the Nashville music celebrities I didn't notice the night we were there. Apparently, my eyes were on the real stars.
