HILLSBORO VILLAGE — Tonight at 6 p.m., a Celebration of Life fundraiser will be held at Cabana in honor of bartender and longtime local restaurant fixture Kerry Uhl, who passed away on Aug. 13. Uhl had worked at Cabana since it opened in 2005. The event will include a silent auction, and donations will be accepted to help Uhl's family. [Nashville Scene]

Running six consecutive Tuesdays from Sept.10 to Oct.15, guests will learn about finding, ordering and tasting wines from all over the world.
