The Pub Nashville, a British-inspired restaurant and bar, is set for its grand opening today. The first Tennessee location of the small chain, and the tenth overall (other locations in Ohio, Florida and Kentucky) focuses heavily on craft beer, along with scotch, cognac and bourbon. Unique to Nashville is their 'Pour Your Own Beer' wall, in which customers pay by the ounce and serve themselves. The lunch and dinner menus offer a little bit of everything, including takes on traditional British classics such as shepherd's pie, bangers and mash and fish and chips.
The grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 2:30 p.m., with the restaurant officially opening for business at 3 p.m. Regular business hours will be 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
