12 South's Epice Now in Very Soft Opening Mode

12 South Lebanese bistro Epice is now open, but only for lunch, as they continue to make final tweaks to the menu and service. The newest restaurant from Maher Fawaz, owner of Kalamatas, announced yesterday that they would be serving lunch until 2 p.m. through the rest of the week, with plans for the first full day of soft opening service, meaning lunch and dinner, next Tuesday. No real menu details yet, but the restaurant has been teasing out photos via social media since the end of December, with dishes including tabouleh, shawarma, lamb shank and rice pudding.
