Another major player from one of the country's most popular dining scenes has his eyes set on Nashville, as Chicago restaurateur Brendan Sodikoff has plans to eventually join the local restaurant scene fray. Sodikoff, founder and CEO of hospitality group Hogsalt, made his first trip to Nashville back in the early summer to start getting familiar with the city. He tells Eater via email that while nothing is solidified in terms of projects, he is 'committed to opening in Nashville' and is 'looking forward to contributing to the restaurant scene' here. Sodikoff currently owns a number of successful restaurants in Chicago spanning a large range of concepts and styles, including diner and bar Au Cheval, swanky steakhouse Bavette's, barbecue den Green Street Smoked Meats and ramen shop High Five Ramen, to name a few.
