Esquire's Josh Ozersky Calls Josephine's Scrapple "One of the Greatest Things [He] Ever Ate"

"There are a lot of places in, let's call it John's era, that you didn't have to visit.......But now, you have to go to Nashville."

Josh Ozersky, unabashed lover of all meaty delights and newly-appointed Esquire restaurant editor, has dropped a few names regarding the magazine's 2014 list of best new restaurants. In an interview with Food Republic, Ozersky manages to give Nashville a good bit of love, particularly 12 South restaurant Josephine. In discussing how he conducted his research, he lets fly that "[t]here's a restaurant in Nashville called Josephine. And that restaurant has one of the greatest things I ever ate. Which is Andy Little's scrapple." So it should be assumed that the dish, now a staple on Josephine's menu, will show up in Ozersky's 'best dishes' list when it's released in the coming weeks.
