Josh Ozersky, unabashed lover of all meaty delights and newly-appointed Esquire restaurant editor, has dropped a few names regarding the magazine's 2014 list of best new restaurants. In an interview with Food Republic, Ozersky manages to give Nashville a good bit of love, particularly 12 South restaurant Josephine. In discussing how he conducted his research, he lets fly that "[t]here's a restaurant in Nashville called Josephine. And that restaurant has one of the greatest things I ever ate. Which is Andy Little's scrapple." So it should be assumed that the dish, now a staple on Josephine's menu, will show up in Ozersky's 'best dishes' list when it's released in the coming weeks.
