Construction on Germantown's Butchertown Hall in High Gear; Jan. 9 Opening Date Targeted [UPDATED]

January is shaping up to be a big month for openings.

Eater Nashville

Things are speeding along at Butchertown Hall, the highly anticipated Germantown restaurant and 'biergarten' from Terry Raley, owner of East Nashville favorites The Pharmacy and Holland House Bar & Refuge. In fact, things are coming along so quickly that Raley tells Eater that they are currently targeting a January 9 opening date.

The interior is really starting to take shape, with some finishes already in and the concrete-topped bar poured in place this past weekend. And booths and tables from local design group Metal Fred are in the assembly process. So be sure to check back frequently for opening updates and more intel. [UPDATE: With the potential opening date nearly come and gone, owner Terry Raley tells Eater that exterior work on the project, particularly concrete pouring, has slowed progress, and that at this point he couldn't say if they "could be open in two weeks or six weeks."]
