It looks as though one of Nashville's largest and most prominent nightclubs and event venues will soon go dark, as Eater has gotten word from multiple sources that Anthem will permanently close its doors on Feb.6 8.
Owners Moni Advani, London Parfitt and Austin Ratliff, who are also partners in recently opened restaurant Chauhan Ale & Masala House next door, opened Anthem early last year, replacing previous nightclub Mai. No word yet on the reason for the closure, but Eater hears whispers that the owners are looking to possibly open another restaurant or multiple concepts in the space.
Heard anything? Tipping is always appreciated, so do send any and all intel to the tipline. [UPDATE: According to a follow-up piece by The Nashville Scene, Anthem will close on Feb.8, with future plans to turn the space into a restaurant(s), with pizza being a possible option. Also, Austin Ratliff is no longer a partner in the project.]
