Cool Springs' Bawarchi Biryani Point Taking Over Tamarind in Midtown

A switcheroo is occurring on the Demonbreun strip, as Tamarind Indian Bistro has closed to make way for another Indian restaurant, Bawarchi Biryani Point. Bawarchi, which currently has a location in Cool Springs, announced the news on their Facebook page this past Friday.

Tamarind was opened in 2010 by the same family that owns and operates popular West End vegetarian Indian restaurant Woodlands. Things started to look a little 'iffy' for Tamarind's future last week when a small sign appeared on the door stating that the restaurant was closed for kitchen renovations, but no work was in progress.
