City Winery has been cranking out the food, wine and tunes now for just over two months in SoBro. And it looks like executive chef Kristin Beringson and her kitchen crew are already gearing up to stretch their legs a bit, as weekend brunch is set to begin this Saturday.
The menu features an array of classic brunch dishes, along with a few carry-overs from dinner, including the KLD farm burger. 'Openers' include biscuit beignets, as well as pastry, cheese and charcuterie plates. Diners can also build their own biscuits, choosing between a variety of meats, cheeses and egg styles. The 'main acts' provide some more savory options, including huevos rancheros, steak and eggs and shrimp and buttermilk grits. Beer and wine selections will also be available, along with a small brunch cocktail menu featuring drinks made with cava and prosecco. Check out both full menus below.
Brunch service is planned for Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. As an added bonus, starting in January, live music will also be on tap.
