The 12 South neighborhood is getting a much-needed weekend breakfast option, as Edley's Bar-B-Que announced today that they will begin Saturday breakfast service tomorrow morning at 8 a.m.
The idea of taking on breakfast had been batted around for some time, and according to a press release, a recent family and friends test run proved that now was the time for the 3-year-old restaurant to get it going.
A full menu has not yet been released, but some menu items include a breakfast burrito, cornbread French toast and 'Tuck's Biscuit,' a take on 'Tuck's Special,' a popular brisket lunch item. Sides will include grits casserole, sausage gravy, hashbrowns and more.
The release also teases the possibility of starting lunch at their East Nashville location, as well as expanding service to other days of the week, so be sure to check back for more updates.
