It looks like the mystery of the local Craigslist post touting a 'celebrity chef owned' restaurant meant to be a '"love letter to Nashville" in the middle of New York City' could very well be solved, as an anonymous source with direct knowledge of the project tells Eater that former Top Cheftestepant and current The Chew co-host Carla Hall is behind the planned restaurant. Which makes sense. The Nashville native, who currently lives in Washington, D.C., does visit her hometown frequently, and is known to enjoy Hattie B's Hot Chicken, which was called out specifically in the job post (which has since been taken down). Unfortunately, Hall doesn't have the best track record in NYC, getting called out back in 2012 for her nearly $800 per couple four course pop-up dinner consisting of mac & cheese and meatloaf, along with other delights.
