Soon it could be possible to head down to Broadway and enjoy a cold beer or liquor drink sans bar, as The Tennessean reports that lawmakers are proposing to allow downtown bars to sell to-go cups. Think everyone is for it? Apparently not, as opposition in the form of some downtown honky tonks, including the owners of The Stage, say that it could pose major problems for businesses that do not sell alcohol.
