Bizarre Foods' Nashville Episode Airs Next Monday

Photo Facebook

Nashville gets the Bizarre Foods America treatment next Monday, as Travel Channel host Andrew Zimmern leads viewers on a tour of Nashville's growing culinary scene. Zimmern, who made the trip to Music City back at the beginning of December, took in a number of popular restaurants, as well as a few off the beaten path, but the full slate of who made the final cut is not yet known. Travel Channel's website does have a preview of the episode, entitled "Crane Meat & Pigeon Feet," and includes two video clips, one featuring Pat Martin of Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint sharing his off-menu barbecue bologna sandwich, the other with Zimmern making a trip to Bolton's Spicy Chicken and Fish. There is also a photo slideshow showing the intrepid host hunting Sandhill Cranes, dining at The Catbird Seat, visiting with Kahlil Arnold at Arnold's Country Kitchen and trying some traditional Kurdish dishes. And Eater has gotten word that Hattie B's Hot Chicken, ramen pop-up Otaku South and Peg Leg Porker will also be featured. The episode airs at 8 p.m. CT.
