Is Chattanooga Chef Daniel Lindley Opening a Restaurant in Germantown?

Photos James Beard/Eater Nashville

It looks like yet another James Beard Award nominated chef is headed to Nashville, as multiple sources tell Eater that Chattanooga's Daniel Lindley is planning to open a new restaurant in Germantown's The Warehouse at Taylor Place. Making the move even more likely is the fact that The Chattanoogan reported earlier this month that Lindley, a five time Beard semi-finalist for Best Chef: Southeast, sold his majority interest in restaurants St. John's and Meeting Place. Lindley served as executive chef at both since they opened in 2000 and 2004, respectively, and still owns and operates Italian restaurant Alleia. The article also notes that Lindley "looks forward to announcing new projects in the near future." Have any intel? Send it on to the tipline.
