Another local brewery is on the horizon, but it won't be going in the Gulch or East Nashville this time. French Landing Brewing Company will be taking over the vacant building at 1612 Church Street, with plans to add a second floor and room for a microbrewery at the rear of the property. The Tennessean reports that the investment group for the project, which includes Dan Gokal who is also head of the trust that owns the property, is in the process of getting it rezoned for the proposed usage. Future head brewer Eric Janson says that they plan to 'brew up to five craft beers year-round with other seasonal and special release beers planned,' with the year-round beers including 'two or three pale ales, an amber or a brown, plus a dark beer or two.' While only draft beer will be offered at first, canned and bottled beer will be in the plans.
