Christopher Stallard Already OUT at Adele's, Matt Davidson IN as Executive Chef

Well it didn't take long for a kitchen changeover at the just-opening-tonight Adele's by Jonathan Waxman, as previously named executive chef Christopher Stallard is out, and local kitchen veteran Matt Davidson is in. The reasons for the change are not currently known, but Davidson, who was already signed on at Adele's as executive sous chef, apparently got the promotion within the past week. Davidson, who was a sous chef at Margot Cafe and Bar in East Nashville for several years, recently moved back to town from San Francisco, where he had worked at restaurant A16. Another member of the team with longtime local ties is Betsy Johnston, who will serve as pastry chef. Johnston, who most recently held the same position at notable Birmingham restaurants Ollie Irene and Hot and Hot Fish Club, is also an alum of Margot, having worked as pastry and sous chef there for three years.
