Chauhan Ale & Masala House, celebrity chef Maneet Chauhan's upcoming North Gulch restaurant, now has a chef de cuisine, as New York City transplant Vasisht Ramasubramanian has been named to the position. A veteran of several of highly regarded restaurateur Jean-Georges Vongerichten's NYC outposts, Ramasubramanian spent two and a half years at ABC Kitchen and most recently was sous chef at ABC Cocina. In related news, recipe testing seems to have started in earnest within the past few weeks, with a number of posts appearing on social media showing potential future offerings, including flavored butters and cocktail combinations like aloe vera and star anise.
