The Acme Feed & Seed (formerly Acme Food & Spirits), the latest project from The Southern Steak & Oyster owner Tom Morales, has had a little bit of back-and-forth regarding an opening time frame, but according to restaurant reps they are once again pushing for a June opening. One thing that does appear to be set in stone now, though, is the menu, and there is certainly an interesting range of food-stuffs. The first floor, a fast casual concept geared towards the lunch crowd, is broken down by protein, with sections dedicated to chicken, pork, beef and seafood, as well as vegetables. The second floor is more of a lounge setting offering a selection of shared plates available in various serving sizes.
First floor menu items range from the now-mandatory take on Nashville hot chicken, to '[T]hai-style' shrimp fried rice with an egg roll, fried catfish with hush puppies and 'Mediterranean' falafel. The second floor offers shared plates with names like 'The Three Amigos' (salsa, guacamole and ceviche) and 'She Had Nice Ribs' (um, ribs). Check out the full menus below.
