New life is coming to the former home of Mambu, as '"elevated Southern"' restaurant Magnolia South plans to take over the Midtown space. According to The Tennessean, the concept is a partnership between Kim Basham, previously general manager at Hotel Indigo Nashville, and Sean Barger, executive chef for The District Bar & Kitchen at the hotel. The duo plans to open up sometime in September. [The Tennessean]
