The Flipside Opens Up Today in 12 South

The Flipside, the newest restaurant project from Tin Roof founder Jason Sheer, opens today in 12 South. This latest addition to the neighborhood's growing dining scene offers a menu anchored by sixteen different varieties of the signature 'Jack's Best Chicken,' where the bird is pounded flat, seasoned, breaded and sauteed, then topped with all manner of extras. The beverage program features a cocktail menu with lighter takes on classic drinks, as well as eight local beers on draft and several Sprecher sodas. And the wide open dining space and bar certainly works to give off that promised "1950s Palm Springs-style vibe," featuring cherry red Big Chill retro refrigerators, powder blue banquette seating and white wall tiling.
