Details are out today on Chattanooga chef Daniel Lindley's first foray into the Nashville restaurant scene, 5th & Taylor. Planned to open in the fall in new Germantown development The Warehouse at Taylor Place, The Nashville Business Journal reports, via press release, that the restaurant will occupy 6,200 square feet of interior space, with one main and two private dining rooms, and serve a "regional and seasonally focused American menu." There will also be an additional 2,500 square foot outdoor patio and bar, for a grand total of seating for approximately 250. Lindley, a five time Beard semi-finalist for Best Chef: Southeast, sold his majority interest in Chattanooga restaurants St. John's and Meeting Place back in April, but still owns Italian restaurant Alleia and recently opened cafe and specialty store Grocery Bar.
