The Sutler, the latest restaurant concept from M.L. Rose owner Austin Ray in the redeveloped Melrose project on 8th Avenue, appears to have its opening executive chef, as Eater has gotten word that Nick Seabergh has been selected for the job. A veteran of kitchens around the South, Seabergh most recently held the executive chef position at Memphis restaurant Alchemy. Prior to that he was the executive chef at Giardina's Restaurant in The Alluvian in Greenwood, Mississippi, and spent time in New Orleans as well. Seabergh and restaurant reps could not be reached for comment, so do send any intel along to the tipline. (UPDATE: Sutler reps made it officially official today, Seabergh is their man.)
