Ohio-Based Graeter's Ice Cream Plans Expansion to Nashville

Fans of Cincinnati-based Graeter's Ice Cream may soon have reason to rejoice, as the iconic brand has plans to expand its retail locations to Nashville. CEO Rich Graeter tells the Cincinnati Business Courier that he wants to open a total of 10 to 15 new locations, with Chicago and Nashville as his main targets. Graeter is headed to Chicago this week to check four potential locations, saying that once he finds one, he'll likely open several more before moving on to another city. Graeter's is available in thousands of grocery stores across the country, but currently has a little more than 40 retail locations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
