Barista Parlor Is Opening a Third Location in Germantown

Germantown is about to step up its coffee game in a big way, as Barista Parlor has locked down plans to open a third location in the blazing hot neighborhood. Owner Andy Mumma confirms with Eater that they have secured a 3,000 square foot property located at 1230 4th Avenue North, at the corner of 4th and Monroe next to City House and across from 312 Pizza Company. Slated to open in the spring of 2015, Mumma says that "Barista Parlor {Germantown} will have its own identity just as the original Barista Parlor and Barista Parlor {Golden Sound} will have." Renovations and a build out are planned, along with the addition of "a special component" that Mumma says he can reveal as things get closer. The popular coffee shop certainly appears to be in a major expansion mode, currently putting the finishing touches on their new Gulch location, with the opening slated for this month and an opening date announcement expected soon.
