Spark of Life Cafe is getting new life, as the 'plant-based' raw and cooked food restaurant is re-branding and indeed setting up shop in Franklin. Now called Thrive Cafe, the vegetarian and vegan eatery has signed a lease for space in The Factory, in the courtyard area near Saffire restaurant, and plans to open in early October. This move comes after plans to open SPARK restaurant in East Nashville fell through back in June, with A Matter of Taste taking over the planned space. Cafe offerings will include raw and cooked gluten-free vegan items, flat-bread pizzas, crepes, soups, salads, baked goods and desserts, as well as 'therapeutic' beverages and an assortment of already prepared to-go items. Weekly cooking classes, along with a marketplace and catering services, will be on offer as well.
