Take a Look Inside Union Common, Now Open in Midtown

Union Common, a steakhouse with a small plates focus, opened in Midtown earlier this week. The menu from executive chef Bobby Benjamin offers twists on classic steakhouse fare, including some of the largest meaty cuts in town. But Benjamin, a veteran of the Nashville restaurant scene who has since spent time working in Louisville for Union Common owners DC Management, isn't the only out-of-town member of the team to put their stamp on the space. Lynh Nguyen of LDN Interiors, who designed the group's other restaurant projects La Coop and Doc Crows, created the art deco interior. The 125-seat restaurant features a variety of seating and table tops, as well as a focal point 27-seat bar and wall-length wine display in the main dining room.
