East Nashville's Sip Cafe Closes Saturday, Goes Mobile Starting Sept.1

With things running a little behind on their end of August move to their new Gallatin Pike location, Sip Cafe will be hitting the road. The last day in their current Riverside Village location will be August 30, stating via Facebook that "[t]he new checkerboard building on Gallatin isn't ready yet, but until it is we're hopping on the food trailer bandwagon and will start serving our delicious espresso, french press, and ice cream again on September 1st! The food truck will be located outside of our lovely friends' shop at Oldmadegood Nashville." The vacated space is planned to be taken over by Mitchell Deli owner David Mitchell and combined with the sandwich shop's original location to make way for new restaurant Rudie's Seafood and Sausage.
