It's shaping up to be a mighty busy fall for Rolf and Daughters, as a benefit and two guest chef dinners, along with an international pop-up, are all on the books. Starting with Oct.4, chef Philip Krajeck and company will head to Bloomsbury Farm in Smyrna for a farm dinner to benefit the Franklin Farmers' Market's Educational Foundation. The event, a partnership with Bloomsbury as well as Bear Creek Farm, will feature a cocktail hour and a four-course meal with wine pairings. Cost of the meal is $250 per person, with advance tickets available at the Franklin Farmers' Market or by emailing ryan@franklinfarmersmarket.com.
Then on Oct.20, Rolf's guest chef dinner series continues when Johnathan Adler, executive chef of Brooklyn favorite Franny's, comes to town for a one night stand at the restaurant. Close on his heels will be another guest chef event, as New York City chef Jonathan Benno of Michelin-starred Lincoln Ristorante brings his take on modern Italian on Nov.17. Tickets for the dinners will be made available via the restaurant's email list (which interested diners can join by contacting general manager Mollie Ward at mollie@rolfanddaughters.com) and will go on sale at the end of September and early October, respectively,
And feel like taking a trip to Stockholm, Sweden? Well Dec.1 through 8, the Rolf and Daughters crew will hit the road and head to that Nordic land for a three-night pop-up. Ward tells Eater that over the summer the team behind Pop Up Stockholm made a trip to Nashville, fell in love with the town and subsequently asked them to bring the restaurant overseas. And Ward promises that it will be just that, with their food, cocktails and playlists all part of the plan.
