Casual French Eatery Porter House Bistro Opens Today

Porter House Bistro, the new casual French concept from Chicago transplant Drew Bryant, opens today in East Nashville at 5:30 p.m. Having taken over the former home of French restaurant Cafe Fundamental after it permanently shuttered in late July, Bryant's outpost promises a bit more of a laid back menu approach and a lighter atmosphere. Wine, beer and cocktails will also be on offer, with a BYOB policy where corkage fees will go to a designated charity. A menu is not yet available, but the restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Friday, with brunch and dinner on the weekends.
