After yesterday afternoon's "Sound Awareness Concert" by developer Tony Giarratana in opposition to SoBro's currently under construction Avenue Diner, The Nashville Post reports that the MDHA Design Review Committee unanimously voted this morning to not allow the redesign of the 24-hour diner. Work on the project will remain at a standstill while the owners prepare to appeal the ruling later this month. [The Nashville Post]
