The Picnic Tap Plans Oct.2 Opening at Farmers' Market

It won't be long before beer is flowing at the Nashville Farmers' Market, as bar and growler fill spot The Picnic Tap has announced an Oct.2 opening. Planned as the market's first business to serve beer, the 35-seat project will offer 15 rotating taps of local brew by the pint or growler, along with a menu consisting of locally produced meats, cheeses and breads. The latest addition in the revitalization of the market, more new projects are still to come, with Jeni's Ice Creams and several others still awaiting board approval.
