The second installment of POP Nashville's guest chef series '{City} Meets Nashville' is in place, as Portland chef and restaurant owner Andy Ricker will set up shop on Oct.25. Ricker made his name with his heavily Thai-influenced restaurant Pok Pok, earning him a James Beard award in 2011 for Best Chef in the Northwest. Expansion then followed, with Ricker now operating four restaurants in Portland, three in New York City and two more just recently announced for Los Angeles. In a release, POP owner Sarah Gavigan says that Ricker "represents the new food economy, and a celebration of a culture and food he loves deeply,.....bringing arguably the most authentic Northern Thai experience in America" to Nashville. Tickets are $75 per person, with seatings planned for 6 and 8:45 p.m. A full menu is not yet available, so be sure to check back for updates.
