Field House, the neighborhood bar replacing Antica in East Nashville's 5th & Main development, has announced that they will soft open tomorrow. Featuring a Nashville sports team-themed decor and a menu focusing on all things bacon, co-owner Sean Clem tells Eater that tomorrow's service will be a "very soft opening," serving an abbreviated menu and beer only, as they are still awaiting approval of their liquor license. The plan would then be to ramp up service and offer the full kitchen menu going into the weekend. Let us know if you plan on heading over for the opening, and do check back. UPDATE: Today's soft opening is not happening, due to some apparent cable TV troubles, but now there's even better news. With doors opening tomorrow at 6 p.m., Field House has announced that 'ALL DRAFT BEER [will be] FREE from 6-9 pm and we will send the bill to Direct TV.' So go forth and drink.
