The opening of M. L. Rose owner Austin Ray's The Sutler is coming a little sooner than expected, as reps for the restaurant, watering hole and live music joint confirm with Eater that doors will be opening this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. The first floor houses the main dining space, stage and bar, which is a replica of the original Sutler's. The menu by executive chef Nick Seabergh runs the span from boiled peanuts to a Berkridge Kurobuta duo of pork tenderloin and belly. And the downstairs bar, or 'cellar,' switches gears and offers a more relaxed vibe, with a separate cocktail list. Planned hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 4:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Friday and Saturday 4:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. Plan on going to check it out tonight? Be sure to report back with any first impressions, good or bad, in the comments.
