The parade of big name chefs from out-of-town looking to get a piece of the Nashville restaurant scene continues to grow, as multiple sources confirm with Eater that New Orleans celebrity chef and James Beard award winner John Besh is looking to enter the market. Representatives for Besh could not be reached, but several sources with knowledge of the group's plans say that not just one but two of his existing New Orleans restaurants could expand to Nashville. Best guesses on what might be coming? Pizza Domenica, the casual spin-off of Besh's much-loved Domenica which just opened up back in April, is definitely primed for duplication. And the restaurant's chef, Alon Shaya, happens to be visiting town for next week's Music City Food & Wine Festival. And perhaps Johnny Sanchez, his new casual taqueria collab with friend and fellow chef Aaron Sanchez. Have any hot leads or additional info? Send it to the tipline.
