Well today we finally learned where John Stephenson, the former longtime Fido executive chef who left that post back in October, is landing, as news broke that he will be running the kitchen at East Nashville restaurant, bar and music venue The Family Wash's new location.
Announced via a press release that's pretty stingy on details, The Family Wash is closing its current location on Feb.21, with plans to open in a larger space on East Nashville's Main Street in late Spring. The new venture also includes current owner James Rubin, artist manager Mitchell Fox and Marathon Village's Garage Coffee owner Robert Camardo.
The Nashville Scene reports that the new location will be near Bolton's Spicy Chicken and Fish, which leaves only a couple of options. Have any intel on the new spot? Please do share via the tipline.
