Another local brewery is gearing up to join Middle Tennessee's growing ranks, as Mantra Artisan Ales has pegged Friday, Nov. 13 as the opening day for their new brewery and taproom. Located in Franklin in Turtle Anarchy Brewing Co.'s former home, Mantra is a partnership between celebrity chef Maneet Chauhan and brewmaster Derrick Morse, formerly of Cool Springs Brewery. Chauhan's husband Vivek Deora and Morse's wife Kaleigh are also partners in the project.

The taproom will feature 24 taps, with Zombies in My Blog detailing the breakdown earlier this week: "[n]ine to 10 of those handles will pour sour beers, two will be small-batch beers, two more will pour craft sodas, one will pour a nitro coffee and the remainder of the taps will pour year-round and seasonal beers."

Taproom hours will be 3 4 to 9 p.m. opening day, and be sure to check back for additional hours and intel.
