Potbelly Opens in The Gulch; VEA Supper Club Pops Up at Hattie B's Hot Chicken

SYLVAN PARK—Hattie B's Hot Chicken will host its first pop-up dinner with Vivek Surti of VEA Supper Club on Sunday, November 1. Surti and Hattie B's executive chef John Lasater are collaborating on the evening's menu, which will feature spiced sweet potatoes, crispy chicken skins, and Indian style fried chicken wings. THE GULCH—Chicago-based Potbelly Sandwich Shop soft opened earlier today in The Gulch, offering up a variety of subs, flatbread sandwiches, soups and shakes. Continued opening hours today will be 5 to 7:30 p.m., with reported normal business hours starting tomorrow of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
